Architecture Internship

You contribute to the built environment of the future.

• You participate in public projects such as stations, transfer hubs, bicycle parking, bridges, and utility buildings (new construction and transformations).

• You support the team with analyses, designs, visualizations, and presentations.

• You participate substantively in the design process and are given room for your own initiative.

During this architecture internship, you will participate in the design process of studioSK, the design label of Movares. Together with architects and multidisciplinary advisors, you will work on public projects. Think of stations, bridges, bicycle parking, or mobility hubs. You will research locations, develop designs, and present ideas. In doing so, you will be given the space to take initiative and contribute to projects that are visible in the Netherlands.

An internship at Movares is a kickstart for your career, and there are several reasons for that. Every year, we welcome between 30 and 40 interns. You will meet them during the monthly Movares Backstage meetings, where connecting with others is the priority. Sometimes you will go to lunch together or visit a project. In other months, a substantive session is on the schedule, where you might learn, for example, how to present or advise better.

And also as a member of Young Movares, our youth association, fun activities regularly appear in your calendar. Additionally, every second Tuesday of the month, you can join the Café van de Toekomst: an inspiration session where you are updated together with your colleagues on topics and projects taking place within our organization. And that is not all: you can make use of our own Academy with over 3,000 different learning paths, trainings, and e-learning modules.
