Utility Engineer

• You possess an MBO 4 diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Process Technology, General Operational Technology, or a similar technical field.

• You have at least 3 to 5 years of experience within maintenance or utility engineering in an industrial production environment.

• You have demonstrable knowledge of utilities such as HVAC, refrigeration technology, steam installations, compressed air, and water treatment.

• You are familiar with maintenance methods, asset management, and systems such as SAP PM.

• You have knowledge of GMP, NEN 3140, ISO 14001, and relevant laws and regulations.

• You are analytical, result-oriented, and take ownership of technical issues and improvement initiatives.

• You communicate easily in both Dutch and English.

• An NH₃ certification is a plus, or you are willing to obtain it in the short term.

To ensure our production environment functions optimally, we are looking for a Utility Engineer who wants to play a key role in the management and further improvement of our utilities and technical infrastructure.

Our Maintenance department is looking for a proactive, analytical, and technically strong Utility Engineer.

• You are responsible for the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of utility installations such as HVAC, refrigeration units, steam boilers, compressed air, process water, and wastewater systems.

• You develop and optimize preventive maintenance programs and contribute to high availability of installations.

• You analyze malfunctions, perform root cause analyses, and implement structural improvement measures.

• You initiate and lead projects focused on reliability, sustainability, energy efficiency, and cost reduction.

• You monitor laws and regulations, inspections, certifications, and compliance within the utility domain.

• You act as a technical expert and work closely with Maintenance, Production, Engineering, Reliability, Quality, EHS, Automation, and external suppliers.

• You manage technical documentation, asset information, and maintenance data within SAP PM and other management systems.
