Requirements

What we're looking for

  • The motivation for a (new) challenge in our progressive, international (partner) organization;

  • You are linguistically strong: your Dutch - and also English - language skills are excellent;

  • You possess at least an MBO4 work and thinking level;

  • You are proactive, flexible, solution-oriented and service-oriented;

  • Availability of 4 (and 5 is also possible!) days per week.

The role

Are you looking for a rewarding job with substance, in a nice team? Linklaters LLP offers you the chance to delve into various aspects of the legal world, at a high level.

Specific knowledge is not required: it is about your motivation, your attitude to settle in as a new colleague in our team and field of work. For us, it is about delivering quality and collaborating well.

The notary team at Linklaters Amsterdam consists of 15 people. You will work directly with two experienced, skilled colleagues from the secretariat. You will work closely with the (candidate) notaries and support them.

The team is further supported by enthusiastic students who are part of our team alongside their studies. Furthermore, there is the possibility of (partial) working from home.

We like to make time to meet informally (in person or virtually) and explain why we are so enthusiastic about working at Linklaters, partly due to the diversity of the work, the inclusive culture, 'agile working' and the many social activities.

What you'll do

What will you be doing?

  • File management: you open and prepare client files, ensure all necessary documents are present and maintain an overview of the progress;

  • Documentation: you are responsible for drafting and updating important legal documents, including deeds, powers of attorney and board resolutions. You collect the necessary information for this and ensure everything is correct and up-to-date.

  • Notarial deeds: you coordinate the entire process surrounding the execution of notarial deeds, from preparation to completion. Have you never heard of this before? Don't worry, we will teach you!

  • Legalization of documents: you guide the legalization process to ensure the validity of legal documents. The same applies here: we are happy to teach you this.

  • Register management: you manage registrations and changes in the KvK (Chamber of Commerce) register and the UBO register. This includes registering and deregistering entities and implementing changes such as changes in board members or amendments to articles of association.

  • Relationship management: you maintain contact with the Chamber of Commerce and courts to ensure the smooth handling of legal formalities.

  • Billing: you ensure the correct and timely processing of your colleagues' services into invoices.
