• have you (nearly) completed a Master of Notarial Law;

As a trainee civil-law notary, you will be part of the corporate practice group, which currently consists in the Netherlands of 25 (trainee) civil-law notaries and lawyers and worldwide of approximately 1,200 members. You will work closely with colleagues from other practice groups and with other international offices within the Linklaters network. The work consists of interesting and challenging, mostly international, matters for clients (such as listed companies, (private equity) funds, banks and corporates) belonging to the top of the business world.

There is ample room and time for building up specialist knowledge of corporate law in the broadest sense and for providing high-quality legal and commercial advice. Over the past years, Linklaters has invested significantly in automating all basic notarial and corporate documentation (such as documents for an incorporation, transfer or legal merger), allowing more time to be spent on bespoke work and advice. This makes Linklaters unique in the market.

In addition to the daily practice, Linklaters offers excellent internal training, both in the Netherlands and abroad, focused on developing and improving legal and non-legal skills.

After your internship, we offer the opportunity to go on secondment to clients or to other Linklaters offices abroad.
