The current leadership style within the legal profession is predominantly dominated by men. The time is ripe for female leadership. Are you planning to build a career within the legal profession or notary practice? Do you want to gain insight into how you can utilize your female leadership?
Then come to the 10th edition of the 'Linklaters' Female Leadership in big law' event!
On Thursday 19 November 2026, Linklaters LLP is organizing a meeting for talented female law students considering a career in the legal profession or notary practice at a large international firm. A number of our successful colleagues, including Maggie Alarie (COO), Mariken van Loopik (Partner FRG Amsterdam) and Marleen Wessel (Partner/Notary Amsterdam) will share their personal experiences regarding reaching the top of their field and leadership positions within Linklaters, which challenges they overcame in doing so, and how they combine their private lives with a top career. The day will conclude with a drinks reception.
Following the meeting, every participant is eligible for a personal career conversation with one of our female lawyers, providing advice for a good career start.
Registration is possible until Tuesday 10 November by sending your CV + transcripts via the 'apply' button below.
In the event of more applications than available places, we will unfortunately not be able to admit everyone. You will receive a confirmation and hear whether you have been selected by 17 November at the latest.
