Are you the logistics expert with flight hours who ensures our flow of goods from port to shelf runs flawlessly? In this role, you are the operational brain of our inbound chain. You bridge the gap between ports, inland terminals, import locations, and Lidl's distribution centers. With your helicopter view, you manage external service providers to ensure maximum availability, sharp cost efficiency, and absolute delivery reliability. Especially when it comes to our time-critical promotional products, you maintain the overview and ensure that we meet the expectations of our millions of customers.

As Inbound Logistics Manager, you are responsible, together with our external service providers, for the operational processes in our distribution center.

• You are responsible for the operational course of affairs in the import warehouses and for managing the cooperation with external logistics service providers on location.

• You safeguard the LIDL-specific process guidelines and quality standards across all warehouses, including the contractual performance of the service providers within the entire operational business management.

• You act as the central hub towards the terminals; monitoring container status and proactively coordinating inflow through the external service providers.

• You determine the unloading sequence based on article priority and warehouse capacity to ensure promotional deadlines and sufficient stock capacity.

• You work in close cooperation with international departments for, among other things: delivery control, sea freight, inventory management, and transport.

• Coordination of external partners for gas measurements or inflow management; ensuring compliance with all safety and LIDL quality regulations, as well as supervising asset security and agreed obligations (e.g., alarm systems).

• Crisis management: Responding quickly to supply chain delays and taking countermeasures to guarantee the availability of goods.

You have solid and extensive experience within logistics and you have already been able to apply your knowledge in a profitable manner. Your positive and solution-oriented approach increases the motivation of your employees.
