At Kuehne+Nagel, you work on logistics that matters. Our Road Logistics organization in the Netherlands is growing, and for our LTL/FTL operation in Doesburg, we are looking for a Transport Planner who gets energy from dynamism, accuracy, and ensuring daily transport activities run smoothly. You are the link between planning, drivers, customer service, and our transport management system (TMS).

• You manage the daily dispatching of LTL and FTL shipments via our TMS and ensure that vehicles and drivers are utilized optimally.
• You monitor trips, identify deviations, and proactively adjust to guarantee reliable execution.
• You communicate clearly with drivers and subcontractors regarding routes, times, and instructions, including correct documentation.
• You ensure accurate status updates and data quality in our TMS, and work together with planning and IT on process improvements.
• You monitor compliance with transport legislation and ADR regulations, and support safety procedures and incident reporting.
• You continuously keep customer service and internal stakeholders informed of progress, delays, and specifics.

• A completed logistics education (MBO/HBO) or equivalent through experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in dispatching or transport coordination, preferably within LTL/FTL.
• Experience with similar TMS systems.
• Strong communication skills, accuracy, and a team-oriented mindset.
• Proactive, administratively strong, and able to multitask.
• Fluent in spoken and written Dutch, supplemented by conversational English. French and/or German is a plus.
