As Business Support Manager, you play a key role in developing and implementing innovative supply chain solutions. You work on strategic improvement initiatives, optimize processes, and translate customer needs into concrete solutions that contribute to the growth and success of both existing and new clients.

• Leading, coaching, assessing, valuing, and empowering employees.
• Promoting team building, collaboration, and a positive working atmosphere within the department.
• Ensuring the development of employees and their career progression.
• Setting up business processes so that objectives are achieved in accordance with expectations.
• Ensuring an appropriate job structure, competent employees, and sufficient resources within the department.
• Effectively structuring collaboration with other departments, customers, and suppliers.
• Preparing functional designs, studies, and reports, and advising on organizational changes.
• Investigating complex issues, drafting policies and action plans, and reaching agreement on these with the parties involved.

• Completed HBO (higher professional education) degree or an equivalent level of work and thinking.

• At least 4 years of leadership experience within a Contract Logistics environment is a strong plus.

• Lean Six Sigma certification or demonstrable experience with continuous improvement processes is a plus.

• Excellent command of the Dutch and English languages, both spoken and written.

• Strong analytical and conceptual ability, with the ability to fathom complex issues and translate them into concrete solutions.

• Experience in creating support and collaborating effectively with diverse stakeholders.

• Result-oriented attitude with a proven ability to realize operational and strategic objectives.

• Demonstrable experience in coaching, motivating, and developing teams within a dynamic logistics environment.
