Senior Implementation Engineer SOC

• HBO+ working and thinking level and extensive experience (between 5 and 10 years) with complex security implementations and SOC environments.
• In-depth knowledge of SOC, SIEM, XDR, and vulnerability management solutions and architectures.
• Experience with designing, implementing, and integrating security platforms, cloud environments, and data sources.
• Experience with complex change and implementation trajectories within enterprise and mission-critical environments.
• Ability to substantiate technical architecture choices and provide substantive advice to customers and colleagues.
• Proficiency in the Dutch language is a requirement.

The Detect & Respond team forms the heart of the 24/7 security operation within Networking & Security Services. From the NOC, SOC, and CSIRT, the team continuously monitors, detects, and combats security threats and disruptions within mission-critical customer environments.

As a Senior Implementation Engineer SOC within Networking & Security Services - Detect & Respond, you play a key role in designing, implementing, and further developing complex managed SOC, SIEM, and XDR solutions. You combine deep technical knowledge with consultancy, management, and leadership to help customers strengthen their digital resilience. In this role, you are an important link between customers, project teams, and operational departments. You translate complex security issues into scalable and future-proof solutions and ensure a successful implementation of our services. With your expertise, you actively contribute to the further professionalization of our managed security services and help customers be prepared for the cyber threats of today and tomorrow.

In this role:

• You act as the technical lead within new customer implementations and work closely with project leaders and other stakeholders.
• You design, implement, and configure managed SOC, SIEM, and XDR solutions for complex customer environments.
• You integrate diverse systems, data sources, and security platforms within existing IT landscapes.
• You perform complex changes, migrations, and optimizations within existing managed security services.
• You translate customer needs and security challenges into robust, scalable, and future-proof solutions.
• You advise your customers as a trusted advisor on technical choices, architecture, and security issues.
• You guide and coach junior and medior colleagues.
