The role
Technology directly touches upon the public interest. A hospital must be able to rely on the availability of its systems and the quality of its data. An executive organization must be able to deploy new technology without losing sight of the reliability of its services. Cybersecurity, AI, data, and increasing regulatory pressure make those tasks more complex.
At KPMG, as a (Senior) Manager IT Audit & Digital Assurance, you are given the space to act entrepreneurially in the public sector and healthcare. You build client relationships, identify where new questions arise, and together with colleagues, develop solutions that help organizations move forward. In this way, you contribute not only to assignments but also to the growth and innovation of our practice.
To do this, you deploy your knowledge of technology and risks. You enjoy auditing, but want to do more than just determine what is going right or wrong. From an independent, critical role, you look ahead, recognize risks early, and act as a strong sparring partner for executives and IT leaders. At the same time, you help build a new way of auditing, in which the reliability and use of data become increasingly important. In doing so, you work together with colleagues from Financial Audit, Cyber Security, and Data & Analytics.
Are you looking for a role where entrepreneurship, client impact, leadership, and innovation come together? Then you will find it at KPMG.
What you'll do
- You are a strong interlocutor for IT management, CIOs, CTOs, and CISOs. You discuss technological developments, ask sharp questions, and help them look ahead to risks and opportunities.
- You advise clients on issues surrounding cyber, AI, data, and technological change. You make complex risks understandable and help management determine where attention is most urgently needed.
- From an independent role, you look in on large projects and programs. You understand the dynamics of a complex, sometimes political environment and make risks surrounding decision-making, execution, and data quality discussable in a timely manner.
- You lead IT Audit and IT-risk assignments. You use the audit not only to provide assurance but also to offer clients new insights and strengthen their control.
- You help clients extract more value from their data. You assess whether they can rely on that data and think along about how they can use it for better steering and control.
- You build sustainable client relationships, see opportunities for new assignments, and get energy from business development.
- You inspire, coach, and develop talented professionals and contribute to an inclusive and collaborative team culture.
- You drive the development of data-driven audits. Together with Financial Audit and Data & Analytics, you discover how client data can contribute to a smarter and more efficient annual audit.
"What makes this role so attractive is the opportunity to make an impact at multiple levels. You help clients with complex challenges, support colleagues in their development, and contribute to the future of our practice. No two projects are the same, and that is exactly what makes the work so interesting."
