Engineer Reliability Intelligence

You have completed a relevant HBO degree, such as Aerospace Engineering or Aviation Engineering, with a passion for technology and for data analysis & statistics in particular. Preferably with at least 2 years of work experience and knowledge of Part-M and/or equivalent regulations.

You are analytically strong and you love to do things in a smart way, preferably automated. You naturally have an affinity with IT, data, dashboarding, and digitalization, and you are also proficient with Office automation. You have experience with IT and improvement projects.

You are customer-oriented and you want to assist everyone with better data and deeper data insights to bring the reliability of the KLM fleet to an even higher level.

You have mastered the Dutch and English languages in speech and writing. You are a team player, flexible, good at gathering information, achieving goals, working project-based, and analyzing problems.

The maintenance division of Air France-KLM is a leading player in the industry. We maintain not only our own fleet, but also the aircraft, engines, and components of approximately 150 customers. Can you make our organization smarter using Big data, AI, and data analytics? We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Engineer Reliability Intelligence Level 2.

As an Engineer Reliability Intelligence, you are responsible for monitoring the reliability of the KLM fleet based on technical-operational data and disruption data. Using statistical methods, you search for trends and developments regarding the technical reliability and availability of our fleet and aircraft systems. You will prioritize alarming trends or other valuable insights and pass them on to our Fleet and System Engineers for the root-cause analysis and the improvement plan.

You are in the Lead of the Reliability Intelligence team and are continuously working on improving our Reliability insights & products through internal projects and collaborations in areas such as data quality, (statistical) analysis methods, automation, reporting, and dashboards.

You are the point of contact for Reliability Intelligence and advise the organization in this field. You are easily accessible to anyone seeking more data or insights regarding the performance of specific technical systems, or fleet types in general. On a case-by-case basis, you will also contribute to deeper investigations into more complex problems as a specialist in the field of reliability analysis.
