What we're looking for

You have an MBO(+) working and thinking level with an education in Installation Technology;
You have a strong affinity with building-bound mechanical processes and HVAC systems.
You have a clear and concise communication style and strive for maximum customer satisfaction.
Good command of Dutch and solid knowledge of the English language is required.
You are willing to follow relevant courses and training (KLI-A is required).
Hands-on mentality. (small software and hardware changes)

The role

In your role, you will be part of our Building Management Systems department. Here, we work with our own product, the Metasys - system for building automation, which serves as a foundation for efficient energy management in many modern buildings. This intelligent, leading-edge technological system connects the HVAC, lighting, security, and protection systems in a building via a single platform to simultaneously increase the comfort, safety, and productivity of the people in the building.

In the role of Commissioning Technician - Measurement and Control Technology, you are responsible for the optimization and commissioning of the control technology portion of METASYS installations at customer sites.

What you'll do

As a Commissioning Technician - Measurement and Control Technology (technician), you commission (complex) building-bound control technology installations within established timeframes at the customer's location, according to defined procedures, project agreements, and customer needs.
You develop positive customer relationships, keep the customer informed about the nature of the implementation and outstanding issues, recommend system improvements/replacements, and promote the sale of additional labor and materials.

How you will do it

You communicate constantly with the customer to understand their needs and meet all expectations.
Stays informed of the project schedule and adheres to it. Deviations are reported to the project manager in a timely manner.
Communicates with the customer to understand their needs and meet their expectations.
Delves into the provided documentation and customized BMS software.
Commissions building-bound control technology climate installations from A to Z.
Analyzes processes and optimizes their regulation.
Understands relevant technical documents such as P&ID, electrical, and mechanical schematics.
Documents completed work in a clear and concise manner and submits reports in a timely fashion.
Provides clear reporting including the current situation, points of attention, and recommendations.
Maintains and improves technical skills and knowledge in the product lines used.
Provides proactive feedback regarding equipment documentation, system status, and completed work.
You are the link between W and E installations, resulting in a well-functioning installation.
