Senior Consultant Health Technology & Data

• A completed Master's degree (e.g., Health Informatics, Health Economics, Technical Medicine, Biomedical Engineering, Data Science, Technical Business Administration, or similar)

• At least 5 years of relevant work experience within consultancy or a data/digital role in healthcare

• Experience in leading projects and managing (junior) colleagues

• Demonstrable affinity with data, digitalization, and IT architectures within healthcare

• Knowledge of or experience with data exchange, interoperability, and relevant standards (such as HL7/FHIR, zibs) is a plus

• Familiarity with developments such as Wegiz, EHDS, and national data availability is a plus

• Excellent command of Dutch and English, both oral and written

• Strong analytical and conceptual skills; you make complex subject matter understandable

• Proactive, entrepreneurial attitude and a curious mindset

As a Senior Consultant Health Technology & Data at IG&H, you will work on strategic and digital transformations where data, interoperability, and technology are central. You help healthcare providers, insurers, MedTech companies, and national healthcare networks to realize data availability and successfully implement digital innovations.

You will work as a full-fledged consultant on projects at the intersection of healthcare, data, and technology. You help clients translate their digital and data-driven ambitions into concrete solutions and implementations. In doing so, you combine strategic thinking with substantive knowledge of the healthcare and IT landscape. You independently take on (sub)projects and act as a sparring partner for both colleagues and clients, with a clear focus on health technology and data availability.

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

• Developing strategies and propositions regarding data availability, interoperability, and data-driven care

• Advising on and realizing digital transformations, from strategy and business case to implementation and adoption

• Performing valuations and business cases for digital solutions, applying health economics (cost-effectiveness, efficiency, and impact on healthcare outcomes)

• Guiding vendor selections and implementations of digital and AI solutions within healthcare organizations

• Working on issues surrounding data exchange and data availability, including national and European developments such as Wegiz and EHDS

• Designing and improving information flows and (data) architectures within and between healthcare organizations

• Fulfilling the bridge function between healthcare and ICT, translating complex issues into clear analyses and workable solutions

• Leading (sub)projects and coordinating with stakeholders within healthcare organizations, governments, and partnerships

• Close collaboration with disciplines such as Data & AI, Business Engineering, and Transformation

You will work partly on-site at the client and partly from our office in Utrecht, where you actively contribute to the development of our Health Technology propositions and expertise.
