Requirements
What we're looking for
- A relevant, qualifying education completed at at least MBO level.
- Or you are following a qualifying HBO or WO study to be able to work in childcare. Check your study here.
Languages
At Humankind, we believe that every child should be allowed to discover the world in their own way. And that everyone deserves the chance to grow! Do you have a foreign diploma that qualifies you to work in Dutch childcare and do you master the Dutch language at a B1 level? Then we have a great opportunity for you!
For our after-school care (BSO) locations in Amsterdam and the surrounding area, we are looking for a pedagogical professional for 16 hours per week. You will work two afternoons at the BSO and, in addition, follow a paid Dutch language training two mornings per week. This allows you to combine working with learning and grow towards language level B2. This way, provided you also meet the other qualification requirements, you can further expand your opportunities within childcare and potentially also work at a daycare center.
The role

Working and learning
You work two afternoons per week at the BSO and follow Dutch language lessons two mornings per week. The training is paid for by us and is aimed at bringing your language proficiency to B2 level. This gives you the space to further develop yourself and increases your opportunities within childcare.
Children are vulnerable. Good communication and language comprehension are therefore essential. Together with you, we will look at the requirements that apply to your diploma, language level, and future deployment.
We are innovators with a dream. A child who grows up to be a strong adult makes our world more beautiful. That is why we have only one goal: the optimal growth and flourishing of every child. With your passion, insights, and your heart for children. Because you count!
