Would you rather be in the forest than behind a screen, in hospitality, or behind a cash register? Combine your studies with a meaningful part-time job where you take children on adventures in nature.

For our nature-based after-school care (BSO) in Heemstede/Aerdenhout, we are looking for HBO and WO students who want to gain practical experience alongside their studies. You pick up children from school and then head into nature with them. Together you build shelters, search for tracks, make campfires, and discover what lives in the forest and water. And the best part? You gain experience that perfectly aligns with studies such as Primary Education, Pedagogy, Psychology, and Sports Studies (ALO).

What does your afternoon look like?
You start by picking up the children from school. After that, the adventure begins. Together you head into nature. Perhaps you build a shelter today. Search for animal tracks. Or discover which creatures live in the water. Spontaneously, a mud kitchen, a scavenger hunt, or an exciting nature game might arise. Nature often determines the program. Meanwhile, all sorts of things are happening. Children learn to cooperate, push boundaries, develop self-confidence, and use their imagination. And you play an important role in that. The best part? No two days are the same.
