Requirements

What we're looking for

HBO (Higher Professional Education) level of working and thinking;
You have several years of experience as a coordinator or supervisor;
You have extensive experience with MS-Word and MS-Excel;
You are strong in decision-making, solution-oriented working, and maintaining an overview during busier periods;
You are the point of contact and coach the logistics coordinators and all-round orderpickers;
You are available during (Mon. to Fri.: 14:00 - 22:00/ 23:00, and in the high season (September-January) occasionally on Saturday and Sunday;
Good knowledge of the Dutch language, both spoken and written;
You are open, communicative, and demonstrate exemplary behavior.

💸 A salary between €2776 - €4139 based on 38 hours

The role

What you'll do

As a Logistics Team Leader, you will lead a team of approximately 50 employees together with your fellow team leader, consisting of about 50% permanent employees and 50% flexible workers. Together, you are responsible for the continuity of the entire day and evening operation within the Orderpicking department. You are primarily present on the shop floor to manage the operation, monitor progress, and guide employees. In doing so, you focus primarily on team leader tasks and do not participate in the operational process. You identify bottlenecks, make timely adjustments, and ensure that daily objectives are achieved.

Responsibilities

Managing, coaching, and developing employees.
Conducting absenteeism, progress, performance, and appraisal interviews.
Guiding employees in the areas of performance, employability, and development.
Monitoring productivity, quality, safety, and KPIs.
Ensuring a clear handover between the different shifts.
Coordinating with other logistics departments regarding results, specifics, and forecasts.
