Operator 5 shifts - Warehouse & Cheesery (all genders) in the Netherlands

As a Packaging Operator or Cheesery Operator, you play an important role in the production process of our cheese. Depending on your workplace, you are responsible for the automated packaging and storage process or for the cheesemaking process.

As a Packaging Operator, you work in the cheese warehouse

Here, the cheeses are further processed and stored after transport from the cheesery. Your activities include:

You work with automated production processes and ensure that the cheese process proceeds according to the correct quality and safety standards. In doing so, you will be involved in, among other things:

• Operating and monitoring multiple automated processing lines, which are partly controlled via SCADA;
• Controlling the processing procedure and timely signaling of deviations or malfunctions;
• Storing processed cheeses in one of the warehouses;
• Working with pallets and operating a (side loader) reach truck.
• The preparation of the cheese;
• The pressing of the cheese;
• The brining of the cheese;
• Monitoring and adjusting the automated production process.

• You possess at least a demonstrable mbo+ level of work and thought;
• You have work experience in a similar environment;
• Demonstrable affinity and experience with ICT and technology;
• In possession of a side loader and/or reach truck certificate or willing to obtain these;
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP is a plus;
• In possession of Vapro or education in the direction of Food Technology is a plus.

• Salary between €3,850 and €4,500 gross per month (full-time, including 28.7% shift allowance), depending on experience and suitability for the position. In this role, you also have the prospect of career growth to the next scale;
• A 5-shift work week, 5% year-end bonus, 8% holiday allowance, and a pension scheme;
• Travel allowance of €0.23 per km with a maximum of 30km one way. Do you live further away? We would love to discuss the possibilities;

Cleaning and maintaining machines and installations is also an important part of your work. Additionally, you carefully register and report deviations, malfunctions, and repairs.
