Continuous Improvement Specialist in the Netherlands

• analyzing line performance, material losses and process deviations

• setting up, managing and maintaining setting lists for the cutting and packaging lines

• guiding and validating changes to products, packaging lines, processes and materials
• executing and coordinating tests and qualifications

• involved in the investment program for the Pack location
• representing operational and technical requirements within investment projects
• supporting design, testing, implementation and startup phases of new installations and modifications
• supporting a successful handover to operations

• experience within food, dairy or FMCG production environments
• working with safety and quality standards
• affinity with packaging, production and process optimization
• knowledge of line capacity, process validation and continuous improvement
• experience with data analysis and translating insights into improvement actions
• affinity with cheese is a plus
• knowledge of cheese cutting is a strong plus

You will be working at our Pack location in Bodegraven, where approximately 70 people work.
You will report to the Location Manager, work closely with two Team Leads and their assistant, two planners and our project managers.

The local packaging technologist is the technical expert for the packaging activities at the Pack location in Bodegraven. At this location, pieces of Dutch and foreign cheese are cut and packed in FreshPack packaging. Our strength is that we can bring an extensive assortment with different product characteristics to the market.
The role is responsible for optimizing the performance, reliability and efficiency of the packaging processes, securing technical standards and supporting investment and improvement projects.
