What we're looking for

Completed HBO (higher professional education) degree in Civil Engineering, Engineering Management, Mechanical Engineering, Energy Technology, or a comparable technical education.
At least 2 years of relevant work experience in a similar position.
Excellent command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written (required).
Demonstrable experience with (gas) infrastructural projects is a strong plus.

Nice to have

Customer orientation is second nature to you.
Knowledge of operational management, including performance management, capacity management, and improvement management.
Strong organizational, communicative, and analytical skills.
Able to maintain an overview of multiple projects simultaneously.

For a client active within the Dutch energy sector, we are looking for a Gas Project Manager. In this role, you will be involved in the realization of (more complex) gas infrastructure projects and will be responsible for a project team consisting of engineers, project coordinators, and supervisors. Together with a driven team, you will realize projects that contribute to a safe, reliable, and future-proof gas network. You will be given the space to organize activities within the established frameworks according to your own judgment and will be integrally responsible for projects from planning through to delivery. What you'll do

Integrally responsible for infrastructural gas projects, from planning through to delivery.
Steering on safety, quality, costs, and planning.
Aligning the scope of the activities in consultation with the client and project team.
Maintaining contacts with internal stakeholders and external parties such as municipalities, contractors, project developers, and end customers.
Coordinating and managing multiple (complex) projects throughout the entire project process.
Functionally managing the project team and collaborating with engineers, supervisors, and project coordinators.
Realizing projects focused on a safe and reliable gas network.
Monitoring project progress, risks, and budgets.
Evaluating the performed activities and project costs after delivery.
Evaluating performed activities and project costs after the completion of projects.
