Allround Warehouse Worker

• MBO level of work and thought, preferably in a logistics direction
• Demonstrable experience in a warehouse or logistics role is a plus
• In possession of a forklift certificate or willing to obtain one
• Ability to work accurately and in a structured manner
• Good command of the Dutch language
• Independent, but also well able to collaborate with colleagues and internal customers
• Proactive and flexible working attitude
• Physically capable of performing warehouse activities
• Sense of responsibility and an eye for quality, safety, and order
• Available at least 32 hours per week.

The Warehouse & Purchasing department forms an important link within the organization and is responsible for managing all physical logistical flows as well as the associated administrative processing. Additionally, the department handles the ordering of both incidental and (investment) goods for the benefit of various processes, including sampling, laboratories, and other supporting activities.

Within the warehouse, the emphasis lies on the efficient and careful organization and management of the warehouse spaces. The department plays an important role in ensuring the availability of materials and resources, so that operational processes can proceed undisturbed. This requires a structured way of working, accuracy, and proactive collaboration with internal customers and suppliers.

Characteristic of the department are a hands-on mentality, a strong sense of responsibility, and a continuous focus on quality, efficiency, and reliability.

This is a varied position with different activities:

• Managing and organizing the warehouse
• Receiving, checking, and registering incoming goods
• Ensuring correct storage of materials and goods
• Collecting, issuing, and internally distributing consumables to various departments
• Handling shipments of goods
• Administratively processing goods flows in the systems
• Identifying and monitoring stock levels
• Ordering consumables according to established procedures
• Placing orders for (investment) goods based on approved requests
• Maintaining contact with internal departments and suppliers
• Supporting the logistics process, such as driving pallets in and out using a forklift
• Contributing to an orderly, safe, and efficient working environment

• Experience working with automated systems (e.g., ERP or inventory management)
