1st Class Car Mechanic

Are you a driven first-class car mechanic with a passion for cars? At Nefkens Tilburg, you will work in a modern workshop on new and used cars, including hybrid, electric models, and light commercial vehicles. You will perform repairs and maintenance, carry out diagnostics, and ensure vehicles are ready for the customer safely and on time. No two days are the same, and your knowledge truly makes the difference. As a first-class car mechanic at Nefkens Tilburg:

• Maintenance and repair: you independently perform maintenance and repairs on engines, brakes, suspension, and other systems;
• Troubleshooting: you analyze technical problems and resolve them using diagnostic equipment and your experience;
• Performing APK inspections: if authorized, you inspect vehicles for safety and environmental requirements;
• Collaboration: you support fellow mechanics, share knowledge, and contribute ideas regarding efficient work processes;
• Quality and safety: you ensure that every car is fully tested and delivered safely to the customer.

Every day is different: you work on various makes and models, from standard petrol and diesel cars to hybrid and electric vehicles.

You have good technical insight and experience with modern vehicles. You recognize faults quickly and can resolve them independently. You work accurately, maintain an overview, and always deliver quality. You are a true team player, helping colleagues where necessary and clearly explaining what needs to be done. You also remain calm and focused during busy periods. You enjoy solving complex technical problems and actively contribute ideas for improvements in the workshop. You possess a good command of the Dutch language. Additionally, you are motivated to learn new techniques and skills.
