1st Class Electrical Technician

As a 1st Class Electrical Technician, you are responsible for installing, expanding, and delivering electrotechnical installations. You work primarily on renovation, modification, and maintenance work within residential construction, supplemented by repair work for insurance companies and assignments in the private and small business market.

You are the primary point of contact on location and ensure that the work proceeds efficiently and according to agreement. You actively participate yourself, direct colleagues, and continuously monitor progress and quality.

Your duties include

• Installing and adjusting electrotechnical installations such as lighting, distribution equipment, and cabling;

• Performing renovation, modification, and maintenance work;

• Directing and supervising (apprentice) technicians on the work floor;

• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and diagrams;

• Monitoring planning, safety, and quality;

• Identifying deviations and proposing practical solutions;

• Coordination with residents, clients, and colleagues.

You are an experienced electrical technician who maintains an overview and takes responsibility. You work in a structured manner and know how to motivate colleagues to achieve a strong end result together. 

Additionally: 

• Do you have a completed education in electrotechnics; 

• Do you have relevant work experience within installation technology, preferably in renovation and maintenance; 

• Can you work independently and do you possess leadership qualities; 

• Do you possess a VCA certificate or are you willing to obtain one; 

• Are you in possession of a driving license B; 

• Do you have a good command of the Dutch language.
