1st Class Mechanical Fitter in the Netherlands

Are you a mechanical engineering professional who likes to take responsibility on the shop floor? Do you get energy from realizing installations and do you enjoy working on varied projects in the region? Then we have a great position for you.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a 1st Class Mechanical Fitter who dares to take the lead and stands for quality.

As a 1st Class Mechanical Fitter, you will join Weghorst Installatietechniek: a dedicated and professional installation company where collaboration is a matter of course and lines of communication are short. You will work in an environment where craftsmanship is valued and where there is room for your input.

As a 1st Class Mechanical Fitter, you are responsible for installing, modifying, and realizing mechanical engineering installations. You will work primarily on renovation, modification, and maintenance work within residential construction, supplemented by repair work for insurance companies and assignments in the private and small business markets.

You have an important role on the shop floor: you coordinate with colleagues, monitor quality, and maintain an overview. In addition, you work actively yourself and ensure that everything is delivered neatly and according to agreement.

You will be involved in:

• Installing and modifying mechanical engineering installations such as heating, ventilation, and sanitary systems;

• Performing renovation, modification, and maintenance work;

• Coordinating work on location and managing (apprentice) fitters;

• Working from drawings and translating them into practice;

• Monitoring the progress and quality of the work;

• Identifying bottlenecks and thinking along with practical solutions;

• Consulting with residents, clients, and colleagues.

You are an experienced fitter who knows how things work on the shop floor and who likes to go the extra mile. You take responsibility and keep a cool head, even when it is busy.

Additionally:

• Do you have a completed education in mechanical engineering or installation technology;

• Do you have relevant work experience in installation technology, preferably in renovation and maintenance;

• Can you work independently and manage colleagues;

• Are you in possession of a VCA certificate (or willing to obtain this);

• Do you have a driver's license B;

• Do you have a good command of the Dutch language.

Weghorst Installatietechniek is an all-round and professional installation company, with a strong focus on renovation, modification maintenance, and daily maintenance within residential construction. Finding enjoyment in the work is at least as important to us as working hard.

As a down-to-earth and dedicated installation company, we work with short lines, a practical mentality, and pride in our trade.
