Civil Engineering Technician

• You are an independent Civil Engineering technician with a customer-oriented attitude.

• You are driven and possess a healthy dose of entrepreneurship.

• You can plan and organize well and you have a creative and flexible mindset.

• You possess at least an SPG/ ROC level 3 in infrastructure or technology.

• You hold a VCA basic certificate.

• You have at least 2 to 5 years of relevant work experience in Civil Engineering.

• The salary for this position is the gross guaranteed wage according to function group C. € 3,398.40 per 4-week period (based on 40 hours).

• In addition, you can count on a performance bonus per period, depending on your work experience.

• On top of your salary comes a fixed amount for the Sustainable Employability Budget for things that contribute to staying healthy and motivated (4.51% according to the Bouw & Infra collective labor agreement).

As our new Civil Engineering technician, you will work with colleagues on cool projects in Noord-Brabant, Limburg, and Gelderland.

Collaborating, organizing, and planning. As an independent Civil Engineering technician, you and your colleagues ensure the accurate daily execution of the work. You are the point of contact for the site manager and coordinate, among other things, the progress and planning. In this dynamic role, no two days are the same! Your duties are as follows:

• Preparatory work, such as correctly setting up equipment and reading drawings prior to execution

• Setting out heights, performing earthworks, installing and repairing sewage systems, and ensuring the work is ready for the paver or the laying of asphalt.

• Safety, such as ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, identifying and reporting deviations, and organizing order and cleanliness on the work floor.

• Reporting, such as noting materials used, (manually) recording revisions, and conducting HSE observations.

• Tool management, such as checking tools and reporting defects, identifying expired inspections, and performing small repairs yourself.

• Together with the team, you ensure a successful project. You report your progress directly to the foreman or the site manager of the project.

Together with your colleagues, you work on projects in the Noord-Brabant, Limburg, and southern Gelderland regions.
