HSE Implementation Phase Coordinator (VGCU) Saferail

• A completed mbo4 or hbo degree, preferably in the direction of Safety Science and Occupational Safety;

• Supplemented with an MVK or HVK qualification;

• You are certified as an HSE Coordinator Implementation Phase Rail Sector

• Experience with conducting (behavioral) audits and accident investigations;

• Various safety trainings such as expert project manager, VOL-VCA, and BHV;

• Flexibility and persuasiveness in an enthusiastic manner.

• A good salary depending on the knowledge, level, and work experience brought, starting from € 3,962.- to € 4,952.- gross per 4 weeks and thus 13 times per year!;

As an HSE Implementation Phase Coordinator, will you give a face to that attitude, so that our clients do not have to worry about health and safety? Work on groundbreaking rail infra projects and discover how you, as a VGCU, can strengthen our team with your knowledge and skills.

Everything regarding health and safety on the projects goes through your hands. You are the modern safety advisor focused on a safe and sustainable policy. You advise proactively on health and safety, draft HSE plans, RI&E (Risk Inventory and Evaluation), HSE files and BHV/emergency plans, and implement this policy within the projects. You guide an entire project from preparation to execution. During preparation, you will support the drafting of HSE plans. In the implementation phase, you will also perform audits and inspections. Furthermore, providing information and training on health and safety is part of your duties. And if an accident does occur (which we hope it doesn't)? Then you will take charge of the investigation, including the reporting.

This will be your job

You will find yourself within a diverse range of projects: from small-scale projects where you fully guide the client during a project to complex integral projects where you are the center of all health and safety issues and interact extensively with various stakeholders such as governments, municipalities, client(s), and subcontractors. You will also promote our safety program "Zien Handelen Leren" (See, Act, Learn) widely: a program developed by Dura Vermeer that increases the proactivity, awareness, and therefore the safety of employees.

Since its inception, Saferail started as one of the first workplace safety companies in the Netherlands, completely developing and offering safety concepts to companies with large or small-scale projects on or near the tracks. Safety during rail works is, after all, priority number one. We arrange total execution - from study through to evaluation - of safety for employees around rail infrastructure projects. Meanwhile, we also offer these safety concepts outside the rail sector for various projects. Your base is our office in Waardenburg, but you will mostly be found at project locations. Examples of work include performing workplace safety for large rail projects, safety expertise on projects, and deployment as an HSE manager within more complex works.
