Do you want to play a leading role in the realization of complex infrastructure projects? Dura Vermeer is looking for an experienced and driven site manager for our infrastructure industrial projects in the Botlek, Europoort, and Maasvlakte.
In your role as an independent site manager, you are the linchpin of our projects. From A to Z, you are responsible for
various civil engineering projects in the industrial sector, such as terminal expansions, road construction, foundations, and specialized short-term projects. The projects you are responsible for will vary between 2 and 15 million. You take the lead on the various infrastructure projects and connect all the different parties so that the process runs smoothly. As a leader, you ensure that there is a strong and successful team and you encourage people to collectively deliver quality and achieve the objectives. In doing so, the client, but also certainly the environment of the infrastructure project, is central. You always look for solutions that best help the client. On the other hand, you do everything you can to ensure that the supervisor and his team feel heard and understood during the ongoing project.
Dura Vermeer is an independent family business. And you can feel that. In how we work together, look out for one another, and build with an eye on future generations. Since 1855, we have been building the Netherlands, in residential construction, utility construction, infrastructure, and technology. Our independence and long-term vision form the basis for this. With a turnover of € 2.6 billion and over 3,700 colleagues, we belong to the top of the Dutch construction sector. But ultimately, for us, it is not about those figures. It is about people. About colleagues who work together on projects you can be proud of - iconic and close to home - and contribute to solutions for societal issues. Our ambitions are great. And we only achieve them with committed people. That is why we invest in good employer ship and a working environment in which you feel at home. Where you can be yourself, feel safe, and speak up. So that you get the best out of yourself and make more together with us.
This is where you belong
You will be working at Dura Vermeer Port & Industry, within a team of 8 foremen ranging from junior to senior. We work for clients in port areas and for private clients in the industry. The workload is large and our ambition reaches even further - we are on the eve of strong growth!
We realize challenging and beautiful projects, but above all, we are a close-knit group of colleagues where fun and cooperation are central. This is the time to join us and help build the growth and success of Port & Industry!
