• You have a completed MBO or HBO degree in Civil Engineering or similar;

• At least 3 years of experience in the role of Head Site Manager or a similar position in the construction sector with complex urban or high-rise projects;

As a Head Site Manager at Ballast Nedam West in Capelle aan den IJssel, you and your team are responsible for the daily operations of our complex urban and high-rise projects in Zuid-Holland. The dynamics, hectic pace, and challenges you encounter give you energy!

You lead your team of site managers who not only want to work for you, but specifically with you. This allows you to get the best out of your team every single day. You do this in line with applicable safety and quality requirements and within schedules and budgets. You are an inspiring leader and coach with a pragmatic attitude and a people-oriented approach.

During realization, you identify deviations in a timely manner and ensure the right solutions within the execution team. Additionally, you ensure clear and concise communication between all involved parties. Work meetings take place regularly on the project; with your team, you ensure the reporting of the site manager and subcontractor meetings. Your input in monitoring the costs and revenues of your project is essential, and you adjust where necessary.

Your expertise can be deployed as early as the tender phase. Project activities are prepared by the central office, and in this phase, you work closely with the project manager and project coordinator for plan development. Together, you ensure that the correct execution methodology is determined and that a realistic schedule is drawn up.
