Formwork Carpenter

• A few years of work experience as a (concrete) carpenter, preferably in civil concrete construction.

• You are a team player and can also work well independently.

• You are meticulous in adhering to measurements and have experience in reading construction drawings.

• You possess a valid driver's license.

• You possess a VCA diploma, or you are willing to obtain one.

In accordance with the CAO Bouw & Infra, a medical examination may be part of the application procedure. For this position, the examination is mandatory if you are going to work in construction and infra for the first time, or if you have not worked as an employee in construction and infra in the past 3 years AND an entry examination has not previously taken place for the same or similar position for which you are applying.

As a formwork carpenter, you will work in one of our Focus Areas: Overijssel and Gelderland. Together with a team of experienced carpenters, you are responsible for making and installing formwork and pouring concrete structures. You do this according to the highest quality standards and safety regulations.

You work on various infrastructure projects, such as bridges, viaducts, tunnels, locks, and quay walls. It is your task to make and install the structures according to the highest quality standards and safety regulations, so that they meet the specifications and design drawings. This requires not only skills in reading drawings and applying measurements, but also in the use of various tools and machines. You work closely with our other professionals, such as site managers, project leaders, rebar fixers, crane operators, and drivers, to ensure that the project is completed on time and within budget. The role of formwork carpenter is a challenging and responsible position in which you apply your craftsmanship and eye for detail to contribute to the construction of small, large, and impressive structures that are essential to our infrastructure.

You will be working at Dura Vermeer Infra Regio Noord Oost. Our region covers the provinces of Gelderland, Overijssel, Friesland, Groningen, and Drenthe. We realize civil engineering projects for public and private clients in our region with a focus on: Structures such as bridges and viaducts, utilities, such as substations and water treatment plants, and industrial infrastructure, such as quay walls and transshipment stations.

Safety, sustainability, and innovation are a number of our important pillars which we uphold; you can see this reflected in our projects such as the Passerelle in Zwolle, Viaduct Hoog Burel near Apeldoorn, and the Drinking Water projects, where the use of circular products (concrete beams), sustainable wood (passerelle Zwolle), and the reduction of CO2 are important themes. We do all of this safely at safety ladder step 4.

• The salary for this position is the gross guaranteed wage according to function group D: € 3628.80 per 4-week period (based on 40 hours).

• In addition, you can count on a performance bonus per period, depending on your work experience.
