The role
Incoming Welding Coordinator
We offer you an Ocean of Possibilities. Join our family.
Do you know the welding trade from practice and are you ready for a next step?
For our organization, we are looking for an incoming Welding Coordinator who wants to grow into a key position within our quality organization. In this role, you will work closely with an experienced colleague who will transfer his knowledge over the coming years before he retires. This gives you the unique opportunity to learn the trade in practice and gradually grow into an independent role.
You do not need to be a Welding Coordinator yet. We are specifically looking for someone who has earned their stripes in production, for example as a welder, foreman, or quality employee, and who is ready for a next challenge.
As an incoming Welding Coordinator, you will be involved in everything related to welding technical quality within our projects. You will learn how welding procedures are drawn up, how certifications are managed, and how quality requirements from customers and classification societies are ensured. You are the connecting link between the shop floor, project team, customers, and surveyors.
What will you do?
Together with the current Welding Coordinator, you will ensure that projects meet the specified quality requirements. You will support the drafting of welding procedures, quality documentation, and inspection plans. Additionally, you will be regularly present in production to check whether activities are being carried out according to the correct standards and to support colleagues with welding technical issues.
Step by step, you will grow towards a role in which you receive increasingly more responsibility within the field.
What do you bring?
You have experience within a technical production environment and possess good knowledge of welding activities. Perhaps you currently work as a welder, foreman, production planner, or QC employee and are ready for a position in which you can combine your practical experience with technology, quality, and coordination.
Additionally, you are eager to learn, have strong communication skills, and are willing to follow training such as IWT if you do not already have it.
What do we offer?
We do not offer a position that is completely set in stone, but a development trajectory. You will get the time to learn the trade well from an experienced colleague, follow training courses, and develop yourself into an independent Welding Coordinator. In doing so, you will work in a technical and maritime environment where quality, craftsmanship, and collaboration are central.
