Engagement Manager (CCA)

As an Engagement Manager at Capgemini, you drive projects with multidisciplinary teams and/or Capgemini technology partners. You are responsible for delivering and managing projects for clients and/or managing contracts that Capgemini executes for its clients. As an entrepreneurial Engagement Manager, you are not only involved in shaping business deals, but you also play a key role in developing innovative solutions and strategies, together with our business developers and technical specialists.

This includes:

• Acting within the triangle of client, team, and Capgemini;
• Delivering according to contractual agreements and monitoring project boundaries;
• Reporting to both the client and Capgemini's delivery organization regarding the project status;
• Managing the expectations and needs of project stakeholders, such as your team members, the sponsor, our client's customers, and Capgemini's delivery organization;
• Daily management of progress, budget, issues, and risks;
• Providing timely reporting of financial forecasts and invoicing;
• Directing subcontractors across all aspects of project management;
• Creating a safe environment in which the team can function effectively;
• Forming teams, including managing team dynamics, resolving conflicts, and coaching team members;
• Further developing the field and promoting the field;
• Having an eye for commercial opportunities and being able to act effectively in doing so.

• You hold a bachelor's or master's degree, preferably in an IT or technical direction;
• You hold project manager certification (Prince2, IPMA-C, PMI or equivalent);
• You have 7+ years of experience as a project manager working in Agile software development teams;
• The skills to balance between pragmatism, strategy, and innovative thinking.
• You have excellent leadership skills & stakeholder management and social skills;
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
