Internship Soil Remediation and Process Technology

Are you looking for an internship where you don't spend the whole day behind a desk? During this working internship at our soil remediation plants, you will learn everything about contaminated soil and mineral waste materials. Together with experienced colleagues, you will contribute to a process that ensures soil can be safely reused. A varied internship for students who enjoy working outdoors and love technology, processes, and practical work.

During this internship, you will shadow an operator at our soil remediation plant in Amersfoort. Here, you will learn how contaminated soil is processed, tested, and cleaned before it can be safely applied again. From process control to performing tests: you will experience the entire process up close.

No two days are the same. One moment you are checking the installation, the next you are helping with minor maintenance or performing a sieve test. You will work in a small and dedicated team where colleagues help each other, have lunch together, and discuss progress weekly.

• Shadowing operators and learning how a soil remediation plant is operated.
• Monitoring the process and checking whether the installation is running optimally.
• Performing analyses, taking samples, and conducting tests.
• Helping with minor maintenance, such as lubricating parts and checking pumps.

You get energy from practical work and enjoy learning new things. You actively identify problems and take on tasks independently as soon as you see something needs to be done. Because you work a lot outdoors and are regularly physically active, you feel comfortable in a dynamic working environment where collaboration is central.

• You are following an MBO education in the direction of process technology, mechanical engineering, operational technology, environmental technology, or similar.
• You are 18 years of age or older.
• You have an interest in technical installations and industrial processes.
• You enjoy working both outdoors and indoors.
