As Transport Team Leader, you lead the transport department at our Utrecht location. You do not do this alone: together with the Head of Transport, a fellow team leader, and two coordinators, you manage approximately 30 drivers to flawlessly supply our catering customers. You are in the middle of the operation and actively participate where necessary: from stepping in on the loading floor during peak moments to checking departing trips and switching gears immediately when bottlenecks arise on the road.

You ensure tight planning, optimal staffing, and efficient use of our fleet. You resolve deviations quickly and know how to set priorities effortlessly when the morning runs differently than planned. Additionally, you oversee the timely maintenance of equipment and strictly monitor regulations regarding safety, working hours, and hygiene.
In addition, you take on personnel care: you conduct interviews with new drivers, handle absenteeism management decisively, and coach team members on the work floor.
