As an Operating Room Assistant Flexpool, you are the driving force behind a smooth and safe surgical process. You work at multiple locations within the South Region, allowing you to apply your expertise within diverse teams and specialties, and to continuously develop yourself. From a warm welcome for clients to instrumenting, assisting, and circulating during procedures: you ensure that everything runs flawlessly.
You love variety, maintain an easy overview, and quickly feel at home in different teams. Together with your colleagues, you deliver high-quality care in a pleasant and informal working environment.
We will coordinate fixed working days with you (if desired) (flexibility is, of course, also possible in this regard, as long as you are available for at least 27 hours (3 days) per week). Within these working days, you can be deployed at various locations within the North Region, which provides variety and broad experience. You will always know the schedule at least 6 weeks in advance.
Your responsibilities consist of:
Assisting and instrumenting: During the procedure, you ensure a smooth process and provide the correct instruments at the right moment.
Checking the surgical program: You assess which materials are needed per location and check client data.
Preparation of OR and equipment: You ensure everything is ready for use according to quality and safety requirements.
Disposal of materials: You clean up instruments and materials according to the applicable protocols.
Administration: You accurately register data in Hix.
Flexible deployment: You work at multiple Bergman Clinics within your region (scheduling is always in consultation). With high exception, you work at a location in another region.
