Ophthalmologist

• A completed specialization as an ophthalmologist with current BIG registration

• Experience with cataract surgery is required

• Availability of 3 days per week (Friday is a must)

• Experience or interest in a field of focus (such as cornea, glaucoma, or oculoplastics) is a plus

Are you an all-round ophthalmologist and do you want to work in a progressive eye clinic where medical craftsmanship, collaboration, and development are central? For our clinic in Amersfoort, we are looking for a new colleague.

As an ophthalmologist at Bergman Clinics, you play a crucial role in improving the quality of life of our patients. You will get the unique opportunity to practice the profession in its full breadth and contribute to the further development of ophthalmology.

You will work within a close-knit and professional team of ophthalmologists, physician assistants, optometrists, and medical assistants. You will practice the profession in full, with care pathways such as cataract, oculoplastics, glaucoma, crosslinking (CXL), and macular degeneration. Consultation hours are supported by a permanent team of experienced paramedics, and you will participate in patient discussions, clinic meetings, and departmental meetings.

Additionally, you will perform duties in the outpatient clinic, operating room, and in independent treatment rooms, allowing you to continuously switch between different disciplines and patient groups.
