How you can make an impact as an Anesthesia Technician in the Flexpool

In this role, you ensure that clients enter surgery with peace of mind and the correct anesthesia. You guide them before, during, and after the procedure and carefully perform all anesthesia tasks and medical-technical procedures. Because you work within multiple specialties and at different locations, you build broad expertise and contribute to the highest quality of care wherever you go.

You quickly feel at home in different teams, work closely with the anesthesiologist and the OR team, and always maintain an overview in a dynamic environment. We will coordinate fixed working days with you (if desired) (flexibility is, of course, also possible in this regard, as long as you are available for at least 27 hours (3 days) per week). Within these working days, you can be deployed at various locations within the Amsterdam - Hilversum Region, which provides variety and broad experience. You will always know the schedule at least 6 weeks in advance.

During your shift:

• You guide clients, reassure them, and prepare them for the anesthesia and surgery.

• You assist the anesthesiologist according to the extended-arm principle.

• You check the OR, prepare it for operation, and connect all necessary equipment.

• You monitor, analyze, and interpret the condition of clients during the procedure and adjust the anesthesia where necessary.

• You work closely with the OR team, day coordinators, and the OR manager.

• You are deployed flexibly at various Bergman Clinics within the Amsterdam - Hilversum Region. With high exception, you will work at a location in another region.

This keeps your work substantively challenging while you work within a planned OR environment.

In the Amsterdam - Hilversum Region, the focus is on the following Bergman Clinics locations:

• Amsterdam (Orthopedics)

• Hilversum (Plastic Surgery, Gynecology, ENT)

• Naarden (Orthopedics and Neurosurgery)
