As managing consultant Strategy & Operations - Industry, you will work with clients from the industry on their greatest challenges regarding performance, process optimization, digitalization, and strategic positioning. Your focus lies on helping companies improve their operational processes, implementing technological innovations, and organizing transformations for growth and performance improvement. When we think of 'industry', we include sectors such as manufacturing, defense industry, food processing industry, and high-tech industry.

Examples of projects in which you will take the lead:

• Guiding strategic workshops to recalibrate the organization's strategy.

• Improving the quality and lead time of the production process at an auto parts manufacturer through the application of Lean Six Sigma.

• Optimizing production processes through the use of data for a personal care products manufacturer.

• Realizing company-wide performance improvement and cost savings at an offshore organization through business administration analysis.

• Conducting market research for a marine engine service partner.

In addition to your daily advisory work, you will be actively involved in acquiring new assignments, further developing our services, and mentoring junior consultants. You will work in multidisciplinary teams and contribute to the success of Berenschot within the industrial sector.

You will join the Organizational Transformations advisory group, in the Strategy & Operations team. Together with colleagues with a technical background or expertise in strategic advice, you will work on challenging projects in the manufacturing industry. Are you ready to deploy your knowledge and experience for your team and Berenschot? If you recognize yourself in the following characteristics, then this is the perfect opportunity for you:

• A completed Master's degree, preferably in technical business administration, engineering, or a similar technical or business administration field.

• At least 10-15 years of work experience, including a portion in an external consultancy role at a renowned consultancy firm.

• You have experience coordinating a project team of consultants and are a strong advisor to your clients.

• You have a proven track record and a strong network in the industry and/or technical service providers. You have a commercial mindset and a demonstrable ability to further expand your network and assignment portfolio.

• Experience with Lean Six Sigma is a plus.

• You have demonstrable advisory experience with strategic and operational issues in the industry.
