As a Consultant International VAT Advisory, you advise (inter)national clients on VAT issues regarding cross-border transactions. You participate in both advisory and compliance assignments and learn how to translate complex regulations into concrete solutions that truly benefit clients. Additionally, you work on cross-border projects within the international Baker Tilly network and are closely connected with colleagues from other Baker Tilly member firms worldwide.
You will receive responsibility from day one: you will work on your own files, communicate with clients, and quickly develop into a full-fledged advisor. At the same time, you will help build our practice. Are you interested in technology and AI? Within our team, tax technology, including AI applications, is a spearhead in the further development of our practice. We expect you to be curious about how we can deploy this in VAT practice and that you think along about smart improvements and optimizations.

You have recently graduated or have a maximum of 3 years of relevant work experience in national and/or international VAT practice.
You will work in a close-knit and ambitious VAT team of approximately 20 colleagues, nationally and internationally. The team is entrepreneurial, growing rapidly, and actively focuses on the expansion of our practice. Every Monday, we are at the Utrecht office for collaboration, knowledge sharing, technical consultation, and a shared lunch. Additionally, we also regularly organize fun team activities.
