Portfolio Manager

• A completed bachelor's or master's degree, for example in Business Administration, Commercial Economics, Finance, or a similar field;
• Being SAFE certified is a plus
• Extensive and demonstrable experience with portfolio management, change management, and strategic programs, preferably in a scaled agile environment;
• Experience within financial services and preferably within a commercial, customer-oriented, or distribution domain;
• Experience in preparing decision-making for senior management, board of directors, or ExBo;
• Highly developed analytical skills and the ability to distinguish between essential and non-essential matters;
• Knowledge of portfolio management methodologies, agile working methods, roadmap management, benefits tracking, and KPI reporting;
• The ability to connect stakeholders with different interests, challenge them, and bring them to collective choices;
• A result-oriented, independent, and constructive attitude, with an eye for customer value, commercial impact, and controlled business operations;
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

This position falls into scale 12. This corresponds to a salary range between € 6,827.21 and € 9,102.94 gross per month based on 36 hours per week. Furthermore, we offer:

What will you do?
As CSMO Portfolio Manager, you are responsible for bringing together and structuring the strategic and commercial portfolio regarding change and continuity within the CSMO domain. You create overview, monitor coherence, and help the CSMO MT make sharp choices regarding priorities, capacity, and realization. In doing so, you ensure that initiatives contribute to the strategic goals of ASN Bank: commercial growth, a distinctive and reliable brand, strong digital and physical channels, excellent service to customers and advisors, and controlled business operations. You connect strategy with execution. This means that together with the CSMO, the CSMO MT, Business Leads, Value teams, and the central Portfolio Office, you determine which initiatives receive priority, how progress and dependencies are made transparent, and where adjustments are necessary.

• Monitoring, driving, and challenging the planning, content, and realization of the CSMO portfolio, whereby you facilitate decision-making within the CSMO MT and provide direction to the ExBo;
• Creating overview, coherence, and choices in strategic initiatives, change projects, dependencies, capacity, risks, and intended value;
• Identifying, assessing, and prioritizing initiatives based on strategic relevance, customer value, commercial impact, risk, feasibility, and available capacity;
• Preparing and facilitating portfolio meetings, Quarterly Plannings, and decision-making MT moments;
• Collaborating with the CSMO MT, Business Leads, Value teams, Finance, Risk, COO, CFCO, and the central Portfolio Office to sharply define and challenge scope, goals, planning, and priorities;
• Translating the CSMO strategy into a prioritized backlog that ensures an executable roadmap.
• Developing and implementing a portfolio management approach within CSMO, in line with the bank-wide portfolio management system;
• Making progress, results, dependencies, and bottlenecks transparent using clear reporting, KPIs, and benefits tracking;

Your responsibilities:

Where you will work
You will work within a bank-wide portfolio management team but will work functionally with the CSMO domain. [AP2] You will work directly with the Chief Sales & Marketing Officer and the CSMO MT. In this role, you support the CSMO in strategic direction, portfolio management, decision-making, reporting, and large-scale change tasks that transcend the domain.

The CSMO domain focuses primarily on the commercial success and the customer- and advisor-oriented strategy of ASN Bank. Within the domain, marketing, propositions, sales via digital and physical channels, franchise, intermediaries, pricing & value management, and business continuity & integrity come together. Thus, CSMO plays a central role in realizing commercial growth, customer satisfaction, brand strengthening, digitalization, and controlled business operations.
