This job advert was originally written in Dutch.
Will you become one of our 2000 co-owners? At our Naaldwijk office, we are looking for a technical specialist Audit. A colleague who is *the* substantive point of contact for technical issues within our Audit practice. You support and advise colleagues on complex issues. At aaff, you get more than a job; you become a co-owner. With 2000 co-owners, we determine our course together.
What will you do as a technical specialist Audit in Naaldwijk?
In this role, you will handle consultations regarding complex cases such as consolidation issues, continuity, fraud risks, corruption risks, and the like. In doing so, you help engagement teams with the interpretation of regulations. You also regularly organize internal technical meetings and training sessions. Additionally, you contribute to updating and further developing templates and tools. You will work closely with other colleagues from the Audit & Assurance technical department. On themes such as fraud, corruption, and independence, you will work together with the compliance team.
The position is advisory in nature and requires, in addition to technical expertise, good communication skills. You know how to inspire colleagues and clearly explain the background and spirit of laws and regulations. To stay close to your colleagues, you will work from one of our audit offices at least two days per week. Our audit teams work in Den Bosch, Dordrecht, Leeuwarden, Naaldwijk, Nijkerk, Roosendaal, and Tilburg. On the remaining days, you can work from home.
You will be part of a close-knit team that meets at least once a week at the Dordrecht office. The team is small and non-hierarchical. You have a fixed role in which you promote quality and efficiency within the technical team. You are the owner of your own growth. Together, we will look at how you want to develop as a professional. This way, for example, you could become more involved in the development of technical policy in the long term.
