The role

What makes this position as a tax advisor so interesting? You are in direct contact with both regional and national clients. You support them with complex fiscal issues, recognize tax opportunities, and build sustainable relationships. Additionally, you will receive a great deal of autonomy and responsibility in guiding advisory processes and will act as a technical sparring partner for both clients and colleagues.

Extra special: at aaff, you are more than an employee. Through our participation scheme, you can invest every year and thus share in our profits. Will you, as a tax advisor, become one of our 2,000 co-owners?

What will you do as a tax advisor at aaff Arnhem-Nijmegen?

You will make a valuable contribution to directors/major shareholders (dga's) and entrepreneurs active in various sectors within SME practice. Common advisory processes you will work on include restructurings, business successions, revaluations, and tax optimizations. By listening carefully to client needs, you offer practical and thoughtful solutions.

What you'll do

  • You provide expert tax advice for which you are technically responsible and you develop and implement tax strategies.

  • You identify opportunities in the market and communicate these within the organization to create new business possibilities. In doing so, you contribute to the growth and development of the tax advisory practice.

  • You maintain and strengthen client relationships through regular contact and by offering tailor-made solutions. In this way, you contribute to a streamlined process for our clients.

  • Regular consultations with authorities, such as the Tax and Customs Administration (Belastingdienst), because compliance with tax laws and regulations is one of your priorities.

  • Collaboration: you inspire the team and guide junior advisors in their development. You play a crucial role in the success of our office and contribute to the growth of both the team and our clients.

Your workplace at aaff in the Arnhem-Nijmegen region

Your base is Arnhem and/or Nijmegen, and you can also work from other locations in the region, such as Dodewaard and Ede. This makes your work environment dynamic, while maintaining short lines of communication. We provide integrated advice across locations. You will also spar extensively with a close-knit and enthusiastic team of specialists, including accountants, subsidy advisors, and business advisors. Because we do not have a partner structure, an egalitarian and accessible working atmosphere prevails.

As a tax advisor, you are never done learning—even if you already have the necessary experience. Whether your ambitions are personal or professional, aaff invests in your development. This allows you to grow into the expert that clients trust blindly, and together we build a meaningful future.
