At least 5 years of demonstrable practical experience with .NET development, supported by the Microsoft products below (possibly with Microsoft certification):

o .NET Framework (3.5 through 4.8)

• At least 2 years of demonstrable practical experience with front-end development using Angular 7 or 8, HTML5, JavaScript, Typescript and CSS3.

• At least 2 years of demonstrable practical experience with CI/CD, including implementing unit tests in .NET and Angular and the use of development tooling such as Azure DevOps, SonarCloud and GIT.

• Good communication skills, both written and oral; • HBO/WO working and thinking level;
• Open and accessible to all involved parties;

• Has demonstrable experience working according to the Scrum framework;
• Possesses good analytical skills and is persistent in arriving at good solutions.

CIBG is an agency of the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport (VWS). CIBG ensures the reliable collection and processing of (certified) data. CIBG manages, in particular, registers such as the BIG register, Donor Register, Veterinary Register, and UZI register.

In addition, CIBG also performs a number of tasks with a different character than data processing. For example, CIBG also issues exemptions for the production and distribution of medicinal cannabis, issues the UZI pass, and CIBG grants permits to pharmacy-owning general practitioners and pharmaceutical companies for the preparation, import, and wholesale of medicines. CIBG aims to specialize in performing register tasks for VWS and on specific registers for education, (professional) register tasks, and government-wide data hubs.

CIBG has locations in The Hague and Heerlen. The Delivery department is located in The Hague.

The task of the Delivery department is the continuous development and maintenance of applications and websites containing data collections. This means that the Delivery department ensures the availability of the applications and websites, security of, and user-friendly access to the data.

Objective

Within the Delivery department, scrum teams are active that are responsible for the maintenance, continuous development, and innovation of the application portfolio. For these teams, CIBG is looking for a senior .NET developer with back-end and front-end knowledge. In 2020, the focus within Delivery will include, among other things, the application adjustments necessary to make all front-ends comply with the stated Digital Accessibility requirements (WCAG 2), performing technical maintenance to be able to migrate applications to other hosting parties, and taking over the management of a number of newly built registers.

Job Description

As a .NET developer, you will be co-responsible for delivering the functionalities requested by the product owner. Together with the other members of the development team, you are responsible for quality. Additionally, as a team, you will need to be proactive in the continuous development and maintenance of the systems in order to increase quality and limit disruptions in that way.
