The developer's tasks will include: - Supporting information analysts/designers with drafting functional and technical designs; - Collaborating on performing impact analyses, Proof of Concepts on submitted RFCs; - Providing input during the analysis and diagnosis of issues regarding performance, security and data integrity; - Proactively proposing improvement suggestions; - Translating desired functionality into robust javascript and css; - Performing code reviews; - Developing a responsive HTML5 frontend for the application; - Providing input during the analysis and diagnosis of user experience issues; - (Inline) documenting existing or new functionality; - Developing based on a design and clickable prototype.

Assignment Background

The company is a website for citizens regarding government matters. Here, citizens can see how they are registered with the government, receive messages from the government, and keep an overview of matters with the government. The site has been online for several years and is being used by more and more governments - partly due to the government's objective to communicate more and more electronically with citizens (fully digital in 2017). Recently, the entire interface of the website was provided with a responsive design.
