You are pursuing a HBO/WO (higher professional/academic) education in the field of e-commerce, commercial economics, marketing, or communication.
You possess a good command of the Dutch and English languages, both spoken and written.
You have a high degree of independence and eagerness to learn. You therefore do not hesitate to conduct research independently.
You are analytical and prefer to work in a data-driven manner.
You are flexible and can switch easily between different projects and tasks.
You show initiative and dare to challenge us.
You are available from February 2025 for 32 - 40 hours per week for at least 5 months.

The role

Applying everything you have learned so far in practice and having room for your own ideas and projects? That means doing an internship with us! Are you pursuing a HBO/WO (higher professional/academic) education in the field of e-commerce, marketing, or communication? And do you want to learn how to optimally utilize various online marketing channels? As a Performance Marketing intern, you will work within the Performance Marketing team and get acquainted with a wide range of channels, namely: SEA, SEO, Paid Social, and Affiliate Marketing.

What you'll do

SEA: collaborating on the creation, optimization, and management of campaigns in Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising to generate traffic to WE-COM.
SEO: collaborating on the optimization of our organic rankings and traffic to WE-COM by (re)writing SEO content, implementing technical improvements, and increasing our internal/external link building.
Paid Social: collaborating on the creation, optimization, and management of campaigns in Cape and Meta Business Manager. Drafting briefings for campaigns and promotions and following up on these with our creative hub (designers/copywriters) and agency.
Affiliate Marketing: adding new publishers and managing existing collaborations, approving orders, project management (influencer marketing, cashback, etc.)
Paid Social: managing and optimizing our Meta lead generation campaigns, through which we recruit new WE is ME Members and newsletter subscribers. Additionally, influencer marketing is becoming an increasingly important marketing channel for WE, where you will support the Social Media team with various tasks such as preparing packages, hosting events, etc.
Affiliate Marketing: adding new publishers and managing existing collaborations, approving orders, project management (cashback, etc.).
