What we're looking for

You bring relevant knowledge of cloud and infrastructure technology through education and/or work experience. Experience with Microsoft Azure is important for this role. But do not let it hold you back if you have more knowledge of Google and/or AWS!
You have experience with infrastructure, for example with Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange, Microsoft 365, and networking such as WAN, LAN, VPN, and firewalls.
You can work with scripting and automation, for example with PowerShell, and are familiar with monitoring and management tools.
You work in a structured manner, analyze complex issues, and seek solutions that contribute to a reliable and secure IT environment.
You can express yourself well in English, so that you can collaborate effectively in our international working environment.

The role

As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will work on an IT environment that is rapidly evolving. In addition to our modern Azure environment, we still work with traditional infrastructure and application landscapes. In the coming years, we will be modernizing and migrating this environment to the cloud step by step.

This means that you will not only manage, but also think along, design, and build. You will be given the space to contribute to architecture, migration strategies, automation, and a future-proof IT platform.

What you'll do

You manage, maintain, and optimize our cloud environments, including Microsoft Azure.
You monitor the availability, performance, and security of our IT infrastructure.
You monitor and improve networks, servers, storage, and cloud platforms.
You support migrations to cloud-native solutions and contribute ideas regarding the setup of our future IT environment.
You implement security measures and work according to guidelines for, among others, security-by-design, IAM, hardening, patching, network security, and compliance.
You support stores, logistics locations, and office environments with infrastructural issues.
You collaborate with suppliers and technology partners and provide technical direction to their activities where necessary.
You analyze and resolve complex incidents and work on structural solutions.
You contribute to innovation projects and the further digitalization of the organization.
