As a Facility Intern, you will play a key role in realizing our ambitions and help build the future of Vopak and your own.

• Mapping the current (AS-IS) and desired (TO-BE) situation and preparing a GAP analysis for various waste streams (including the company restaurant, pantries, and sanitary facilities).
• Analyzing quantitative and qualitative data from suppliers and the waste collector to identify gaps.
• Researching and setting up effective communication and awareness actions to intrinsically motivate colleagues to separate their waste correctly.
• Advising on the necessary practical facilities (such as the correct collection tools, clear routing, and effective signage).
• Ensuring compliance processes and legal obligations (such as the mandatory waste separation and waste registration).
• (Limited) operational participation within the team at the Facility Service Desk.

As a Facility Intern, you will investigate how we can separate our business waste more intelligently and translate this into practical facilities and successful behavioral change among colleagues.

• You are currently following a relevant MBO or HBO education in the direction of Facility Management.
• You are skilled in data analysis and have the ability to look at raw data and identify missing information.
• You have the confidence to communicate smoothly and professionally with various internal stakeholders.
• You have a proactive attitude and a passion for sustainability and continuous process improvement.
