Do you have experience operating large machines on the tracks? Then we are looking for you!

Do you have experience with large machines on the tracks? At VolkerRail, we are looking for enthusiastic colleagues who want to build safe and reliable tracks in the Netherlands together with us. As an Operator, you are indispensable to our team!

You will work with, for example, impressive tamping machines such as the Unimat and Beaver, and together with your team, you will ensure that the track remains in top condition. No two days are the same, because you work in different locations across the Netherlands, both during the day and at night or on weekends.

In addition to operating our large railway machines, these tasks are also part of your package:

• Performing daily maintenance and minor repairs;

• Identifying and resolving or reporting deviations;

• Ensuring everything proceeds safely, neatly, and according to the rules. Such as checking the presence of all regulations and documents for the driving service;

• Working under supervision or independently on tracks in service or out of service;

• You register the work performed in accordance with work agreements in, among other things, logbooks and weekly statements.

You work in a close-knit team of 11 operators and 2 team leaders who are always there for one another!
