Retail Intern

As a Retail Intern at Vlisco, you will support the store team with the daily activities in our shop. You are an important point of contact for customers and help to ensure every customer receives a pleasant shopping experience.

You will be involved in customer contact, sales conversations, store presentation, and the processing and presentation of our coupons and other items. You will work closely with the store team and get the chance to learn everything about retail, sales, and customer-oriented working in practice.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Customer contact and sales

• Receiving and advising customers in the store;

• Supporting sales conversations and answering customer questions;

• Contributing to a welcoming and customer-oriented shopping experience.

Store presentation and collection

• Ensuring a neat, tidy, and attractive store;

• Supporting the presentation and replenishment of coupons and other items;

• Thinking along about attractive product presentation.

Store activities and stock

• Supporting the daily activities in the store;

• Helping with the processing and maintaining of stock;

• Ensuring that the store looks tidy and organized.

• You are following an MBO education in the direction of Retail, Retail Trade, Sales, or a similar field;

• You are customer-friendly, enthusiastic, and enjoy working with people;

• You work accurately and enjoy being active;

• You are proactive and enjoy rolling up your sleeves;

• You speak English and Dutch. French is a plus;

• You are eager to learn and enjoy discovering new things.

WHAT WE OFFER:
The conditions applicable to you as an intern are listed below.

• A challenging and educational working internship of 16 weeks or longer;

• An internship allowance of €300,- per month based on 32-40 hours (or pro rata);

• A workplace located in the center of Helmond, within walking distance of the station;
