What we're looking for
• HBO (Higher Professional Education) level of working and thinking;
• At least 5 years of demonstrable ICT experience within integration development;
• Experience with integration development and low-code platforms;
• Experience with databases, web services (REST and/or SOAP), message brokers, and APIs;
• You are a strong communicator and a true team player;
• You dare to speak up, even in environments with differing opinions;
• Taking ownership and responsibility is second nature to you;
• You work well in an international team where Dutch and English (written and oral at a professional level) are the working languages.
Nice to have

The role
As a MuleSoft Consultant at Axians, you will work dedicated to challenging integration projects for sister companies within the VINCI Group. You will help them with their digital transformation by smartly connecting systems, applications, and data sources, automating processes, and enabling real-time insight into data and processes.
You will work on diverse projects: from designing completely new integration landscapes within the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform to modernizing legacy software into modern APIs, events, and microservices. No two projects are the same, which ensures plenty of variety, dynamism, and technical challenge.
In this position, you hold not only the role of developer but also that of consultant. You actively contribute ideas regarding integration architectures, technical choices, and best practices, and you translate complex issues into scalable, future-proof solutions.
What you'll do
Specifically, you will be involved in:
- Designing, building, and managing APIs and integrations within MuleSoft;
- Setting up API-led architectures;
- Integrating cloud and on-premise systems;
- Modernizing legacy applications;
- Advising clients on integration strategies and optimizations.
How you'll work
You will work from our office in Zaltbommel, from home, or at the client's location (primarily in the Netherlands and on average once every 2 to 3 months on-site in Paris) and work closely with Dutch and French colleagues in the MuleSoft team. What is certain: you will work continuously on innovative, complex, and varied trajectories that will continue to challenge you and in which you will further develop yourself as a MuleSoft specialist.

You are an experienced integration consultant with a strong technical foundation and the ambition to further specialize in MuleSoft and consultancy. You enjoy working in complex IT landscapes and feel comfortable in an international, collaborative environment where ownership and communication are important:
