What we're looking for

HBO (Higher Professional Education) level of work and thinking in Electrical Engineering or similar
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Lead Engineer in multidisciplinary projects
Experience with agile working and scrum boards
Knowledge of BIM models and SharePoint
Valid VCA VOL certificate
Knowledge of Eplan, calculation programs, Low Voltage Directive, and Machinery Directive
Multidisciplinary knowledge with experience in complex infrastructure projects is a plus

The role

As Lead Electrical Engineer, you lead the design process and manage engineers and BIM modelers. You translate client requirements into integrated technical designs and monitor multidisciplinary cohesion. You set up the design planning, work agile, and keep the scrum board up to date. You consult with clients and stakeholders and ensure the quality of calculations, drawings, and BIM models.

What you'll do

Leading engineers and BIM modelers with technical oversight of their work
Setting up and monitoring design planning and agile processes, including the scrum board
Translating client requirements into technical designs according to standards and contractual requirements
Organizing and reviewing calculations, drawings, and BIM models
Monitoring multidisciplinary cohesion for a cost-efficient design
Consulting with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders regarding design aspects
Managing documentation with version control and consistency
Reporting on progress, deviations, and bottlenecks to management
Developing concepts for further elaboration within the team
