As a Drafter/Engineer, you will work on the design, drafting, and modeling of mechanical and electrical installations. From the initial technical elaboration to the final execution drawings: you ensure that everything is correct.

You will work on diverse utility projects, such as schools, offices, and healthcare institutions. In doing so, you will regularly coordinate with project managers, work preparers, and technicians. This way, you are closely involved in the entire process and see how your designs become reality.

As a Drafter/Engineer at Velgsib Installatietechniek, you translate technical ideas and specifications into accurate drawings and practical installation designs. You actively contribute ideas regarding the best technical solutions and ensure that your drawings are immediately usable for execution.

Your responsibilities include

• Creating, elaborating, and adjusting technical drawings in AutoCAD (2D and 3D);

• Modeling mechanical and electrical installations in Revit (BIM);

• Translating technical specifications and designs into clear execution drawings;

• Checking drawings for quality, completeness, and applicable standards and regulations;

• Supporting technical calculations and solving design issues;

• Coordinating designs with project managers, work preparers, technicians, and suppliers;

• Contributing ideas for innovative, sustainable, and practically feasible installation solutions.
